As a diver and visitor since the 1970s and time-share owner since the 1980s, my greatest disappointment is in the hypocritical Jet Ski policy that appeared about a decade ago.
A protected marine sanctuary off Seven Mile Beach is no place for noisy and polluting water craft. I have a waterfront unit and it feels like a motorcycle gang is riding back and forth (loop after loop after loop ad nauseum) in my back yard. When my timeshare lease expires, (if things have not changed) I will probably vacation on Tortola, where they do not allow Jet Ski noise and water pollution.
Jet Skis may entertain a few hot shots for an hour or two, but they are aggravating many more visitors who came to the Caymans for a quiet island vacation.
