The Pink Ladies Voluntary Corp Annual Christmas Bazaar is always a big hit with shoppers seeking handmade items for the Yuletide season.
Held at the Family Life Centre Saturday, the bazaar is one of the organisations largest events.
The event showcased a number of handmade items such as cakes, arts and crafts, plants, jams, jellies and chutneys, served along with tea, live music and entertainment.
The funds raised provide help to charities such as The Pines Retirement Home, the George Town Hospital, NVCO and other charitable causes throughout the community.
The Annual Tea and Bazaar has been held by the Pink Ladies for over 25 years.
There was also a children’s corner where youngsters were kept amused with face painting, balloons and manicures.
As always the White Elephant Stall was a big success with attendees who stocked up on loads of bric-a-brac and household items.
The plant stall and Christmas decoration table added a traditional seasonal flavour to the whole event, a variety of handmade items such as topiaries centrepieces, bells wreaths, and other knick-knacks were on display.
At the well-attend event, visitors also enjoyed a number of delightful presentations by school children, choirs and dancers from Miss Jackie’s School of Dance as well as the raffle of a Christmas Quilt made by the Craft Group.
During the afternoon, visitors also enjoyed browsing the book stalls and participating in a number of fun activities.
