Harrison signs off

The WestTel five-a-side football league returned to action last week and there were plenty of entertaining encounters despite some post-festive season sluggishness.

Bonaca Boys remain unbeaten and top of the Division One standings after overcoming Centre Spot 4-3.

In the other Division One games, Tru Ballers smashed Scotiabank 5-0 and Burger King grilled WestTel 6-2. Theron Wood gobbled up a hat-trick for Burger King.

In Division Two, Transformers beat Doghouse Devils 3-1, BDO-Tortuga were too hot for Chilled, winning 4-3 and Coconut Joe’s peeled Maples 5-0 with Rob Patraluea netting four times.

Also in Division Two, Appleby beat John Doak Architecture 2-1, Old Boys were too good for McAlpine United, winning 5-3 and The Security Centre locked out Caylight Legendz 5-4.

CFP Buzz Crusaders remain unbeaten in Division Three, smashing six past PWC. Prolific scorer Andy Harrison signed off from CFP Buzz with a hat-trick in the 6-0 win. Harrison is leaving this week to live in Florida.

KPMG smashed WestStar 10-1 with hat-tricks for Rob Neesome and James Kattan. At least TV presenter Jason Harper can boast his side’s solitary goal in three matches.

Doghouse Devils II put five past Ocean Frontiers with Ian Lambert getting a hat-trick.
