Win for Turtle Nest Inn

A Cayman hotel has picked up
several prestigious awards including being named Best Bargain in the World.

The Turtle Nest Inn at Bodden Town
won the accolade at the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards which are voted
for by users of the website. The hotel had also been winners of several awards
in 2008 and 2007.

Turtle Nest owner Alain Beiner said
he was very satisfied with the awards as they have made a major effort to raise
the bar in terms of the service that they offer their customers.

“We respond to guests in a very
personal way; they’re not just numbers here and so we go beyond the normal
requirements to satisfy any needs they have,” he said.

Units at the hotel feature free net
access, TV channels, and a lending library of pocket books, board games and
DVDs, plus snorkelling gear.

Mr. Beiner said it was important to
have well-appointed rooms and affordable rates.

“We pride ourselves as being as
efficient as possible and giving the best value possible. Our rates are the
lowest of any seaside property when you consider the amenities included. It’s
very satisfying to get some recognition for our efforts.

“We felt the recession somewhat
last year, particularly between August and November but the new year is as
strong as ever and we’re confident going forward,” he added.
