The University College of the
Cayman Islands is hosting a conference on Caribbean literature, culture and
identity this week.
The two-day conference began
yesterday, 11 March, and includes several panel discussions exploring many
aspects of Caymanian and Caribbean life.
Today, 12 panel discussions are
being held at the university campus, covering topics as diverse as how
computers can change the culture of math and science teaching; homophobia in
