Ambience closes doors

A local kitchenware destination
known for its innovative merchandise has closed its doors after more than 10
years in business.

Specializing in kitchenware and
table top décor Ambience has closed its physical doors.

“We have closed our Strand location and are
looking into more viable options in continuing Ambience,” said owner and
manager Christiane Schuette McField.

“We are paying keen attention to
the present economic situation of not only the Cayman Islands but the world on
a whole and would like to make the right decisions in making sure Ambience
survives the economic downturn,” she continued.

Along with carrying tabletop décor Ambience
also offered wedding registries and specialized home gifts with brands such as
Dibbern, Robbe Berking, WMF, Schulte-Ufer, Wuesthof, Alfi and Arzberg.

Ambience had expanded its inventory
from only kitchenware and tabletop to bed and bath décor.

“We continue to keep our clients in
our thoughts and thank them for their continued patronage,” said Ms Schuette
McField.

“We will have more information available shortly
as to the next steps for Ambience and will give notice accordingly.”
