Kids vie for FA Cup

Defending champions Bodden Town
meet Academy in the quarter finals of the 2010 Cayman Islands Football
Association Under-17 FA Cup competition next month

The match is on Saturday 24 April at
the G. Haig Bodden Sports Complex in Bodden Town at 4:30pm.

Matches were announced in the
studios of Radio Cayman during a live draw done by Director of the Youth
programme Paulette Connolly-Bailey and Assistant Director Gregory Ebanks under
the watchful eyes of representatives of some of the participating clubs.

 The other match-ups were Sunset facing East
End at the Annex at 4:30pm on Monday 19 April, Cayman Brac meeting Elite at the
Ed Bush Stadium at 10:30am on Monday 19 April and Future encountering Cayman
Athletics at the Annex at 10:30am Monday 19 April as well.

The quarter-finals for the U-15 age
group was drawn at the same venue and time and the games will be Bodden Town
against Elite on Thursday 22 April, 4:30pm at the Ed Bush Stadium, East End
against Scholars International at the Annex at 4:00pm, Tigers taking on Seven
Miles SC at 4:30pm at the Bodden Town Sports Complex and on Saturday 24 April at
9:00am Future meets Cayman Athletics SC at the Annex.

Presently, according to the point
standings of the three Youth Leagues Coach Ernie ‘Gillie’ Seymour is on a high
again as his Cayman Athletics team have won the U-15 title undefeated with one
game left and in the Under-13s he hopes to win setting the record as undefeated
in that category as well. 

It is mandatory that all teams
field a youth team to be eligible for participation in the other senior leagues
administrated by the football association.
