Caymanians help dms group grow

Dms Organization Ltd announced the
expansion of its various business activities through the arrival of nine Caymanians
that have joined dms’ affiliates and subsidiaries in recent months.

The company that is engaged in the financial
services, real estate and media sectors is actively recruiting and encourages
interested job seekers to apply, the company said in a press release.

Of the nine people that have recently
joined dms Mindy Kimball   was promoted after
only a few months from receptionist to office services administrator, where she
is responsible for planning and administering the policies relating to all
phases of operational activity for dms

 “Dms is a company that I truly enjoy working
for as their commitment to their staff is highly recognisable,” Ms Kimball
said.

Tamika
Gilliland recently joined dms’ as a receptionist. She stated that dms as an
organisation “that promotes from within and encourages learning and development”
is the right place to start her career.

Valdreen Lindo has been with dms as
a finance administrator since mid-2009. She previously worked in similar roles
at Cayman Surveying, Property Consultants Ltd and CML Offshore Recruitment. Ms
Lindo holds a BA degree in Accounting from the University College of the Cayman
Islands.

Carney Ebanks joined the dms
Properties team in the summer of 2009 as maintenance person and ensures the
maintenance of dms properties including dms House,
dms Place, dms Centre and dms Broadcasting Centre.

The financial services companies
dms Management and dms Corporate Services also continued their growth with the
hiring of Jonathon Doak, Leisha Taylor and Janine
Mitchell as corporate administrators. Their roles will encompass the administration
of official corporate records and financial services transaction.

Ms Taylor was
previously employed with Ernst & Young as a Client Serving Associate
Supervisor while Mr. Doak recently earned his LLB (Hons) at Cayman Islands Law
School. 

Ms Mitchell was
employed with KPMG as an accounting assistant. She also previously interned
with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority.

Offshore Business Solutions,
another expanding dms financial services company, has hired Monique Williams as
an administrative assistant focused on serving client needs. Ms Williams is one
of several of dms’ former Junior Achievement students who have returned to dms
after graduation and are now employed on a full-time basis.

“While serving
as the president of the first dms student group in the Junior Achievement
programme I had the opportunity to learn about career opportunities with the
company,” Ms Williams commented. “I have only been with OBS for a month, but
already I am confident that this is a company that will challenge me and help
me to excel.”

Dms affiliate Saxon
Administration Ltd recently hired Kristin Ebanks as a finance manager. She
directs all financial management functions and oversees general accounting
functions. Previously, she served as the finance manager for the Public Service Pensions Board.
