Dart flies past KPMG while KM sizzle Yellow Pages

Little league t-ball action was pretty interesting
on Saturday April 24.

Dart took on KPMG in a very entertaining game at the
Field of Dreams facility in George
Town. The match served as the first real game back
from the Easter break for both teams. The Dart kids showed no rust as they came
out playing good defense with at pitcher and at shortstop.

The Dart offense saw every batter got a hit and
produced a grand-slam. KPMG put on a great out-fielding display with Sam
Harding and Brandi Conolly making good stops. Kai Bacon hit his first home
run of the season and Bradford Green, Isabela Watler and Kameron Bennett also
had great hits.

In other action, KM Ltd. played a solid all-around
game against Yellow Pages. KM Ltd. had excellent fielding by Gabriel Fisher,
Leymar McLean, William Dyer and Devon Wood, all of whom had powerful hits as
well. Charlotte Dowell, Carter Duchene, Peyton
Duchene, Leon
Holness and Neil McComb also batted safely for KM Ltd.

CIBC started its game against Maples strong defensively
with Rick Zuniga making four outs at home plate—a team record. Jacobbi Solomon
made some good stops, throwing to Manuel Regidor at first to try and catch the
runner.

Tommy McGregor shared player of the game honours for
his solid play at third base and catcher and for his big hits.  Impressed with the team effort, Coach Tracey
also named Raina Myles as player of the game for her great stops as pitcher and
for making the boys run to chase her hits.

Romeo Thomas’ consistent play made Maples’ runners
work hard to gain first base.  After recovering
from a rainy week, CIBC appears to be getting back into top form.

Finally FCIB took to the field against Maples with
Kace Archuleta showing some good fielding and throws to first while Andy
Hastings added a three-RBI double.

In the second inning, FCIB’s Darius Williams doubled
and Hastings
brought the team home as last batter with a big home run. In the relay, Koen
Archuleta, Blake Burke and Austin Ziemniak all powered round the bases for
FCIB.
