Corporate softball recently came to
a close and a trio of teams were crowned champs.

The Field of Dreams hosted the final
matches of the 2010 Winter Adult co-ed softball league. Matches were played Monday
and Tuesday evening.

Home Gas continued its
strangle-hold on the A league with yet another title. This season the side beat
out KPMG A 13-12 in the final last Monday. It is their sixth championship this
decade.

Surprise contender PWC B stole the
B league after a 3-8 regular season. Craig Smith and Justin Miller guided the
team to a 15-4 win over the Doghouse Glovernauts. Doghouse were another
surprise finalist after sporting a mediocre 4-7 record.

In the C league rookie clubs Ritz
Carlton Lions and A.L. Thompson Drills squared off in the final, with the Lions
pouncing to a title 11-10.

The playoff winners join the other
teams who won their respective divisions this season. Island Taste Hot Stuff
won the A1 division with the best record in co-ed softball at 10-2 and the
Coors Light Chuggers won the A2 division at 8-4.

In the B league Triple Crown were
the B1 winners at 9-3 while Walkers rode the best defense in all of co-ed
softball (allowing 108 runs) to top the B2 division at 9-3. The AL Thompson Drills
won the C league at 9-3.
