The Cayman Islands Cancer Society
recently received a welcome donation of $1000.00.
“Higgs & Johnson in Cayman was
proud to once again partner with longstanding clients Yael and Joram of Agar
Corporation Ltd., in their very generous donation to the cancer society,” said
Partner of the law firm, Gina Berry.
“The Agars are well known for their generosity and feel they should give
back to the community in meaningful ways.
“Cancer education, prevention and
support are common interests of both the Agars and Higgs & Johnson. Over the years the law firm has supported the
Lions Club of Tropical Gardens and Grand Cayman, as well as the Cancer Society
in their many initiatives to raise awareness and funds,” Ms. Berry said.
Office Manager at the Society, Emma
Hislop, said: “The Cayman Islands Cancer Society is extremely grateful for
donations such as this one. This act of
generosity will go a long way in assisting our efforts to support those affected
by cancer, and to reduce the incidence of cancer in the Cayman Islands.”
The Agars have donated funds to
other equally important organisations and initiatives over the past years.
