Two robbery suspects nabbed

Police arrested two men in
connection with an armed robbery of a liquor store in Pasadora Place on Friday.

Shortly before 7pm Friday, 4 June,
police officers from George Town police station responded to a robbery report
at Tortuga Discount Liquors in Pasadora Place on Smith Road, where two masked
males with machetes had entered the store and threatened staff before making
off with cash and other items.

No-one was injured in the robbery.

Police said they arrested two local
men on Friday night.

Detective Constable Gustavo
Rodriguez of George Town CID is appealing for anyone who was may have witnessed
the robbery or the suspects fleeing the scene to come forward.
