Vogue Productions seeks Caymanian green goddess

The
search is on again for another Caymanian beauty to represent Cayman
internationally.

N’Vogue
Productions Ltd is searching for a beautiful, motivated and intelligent young
woman to represent the Cayman Islands at the Miss Earth competition in Nha
Trang, Vietnam, on 4 December.

The
local contest is scheduled to take place at the Harquail Theatre in September,
and the registration deadline is 17 July.

To
become an advocate for Mother Earth and a chance to be a goodwill ambassador
and spokesperson for the Cayman Islands, entrants must meet these criteria: be
a natural-born female; single, never married or having given birth to a child;
at least 18 years old, and not older than 26.

She
must also be at least 5-feet-5 inches tall, possess “beauty of face,” have
proportionate body structure, be friendly and outgoing, have a pleasing
personality and be in excellent physical condition. She must have good moral
character; not been convicted of any crime; a high school graduate; leadership
skills, born in the Cayman Islands; familiar with the islands’ culture and environmental
issues and be able to travel to the Miss Earth pageant in Vietnam for a minimum
stay of three weeks beginning November 2010.

In
Vietnam, more than 90 contestants from various countries and territories will
compete for the Miss Earth title. The reigning Miss Earth, Larissa Ramos of
Brazil, will crown her successor.

The
Miss Earth winner will serve as spokesperson for the Miss Earth Foundation, the
United Nation Environment programme and other environmental organisations, as
well as dedicate a year to promoting environmental projects and addressing
issues concerning the environment.
