Business after hours coming up

The Chamber of Commerce is gearing
up for two Business After Hours events this month.

Cayman’s Motor Museum is revving up
to share its amazing collection of cars and motorbikes with Chamber members and
their guests on Thursday, 12 August from 5.30–7.30 pm.

The 10,000-square-foot space holds
a collection acquired by local businessman Andreas Ugland including the world’s
first car, the Batmobile, numerous Ferraris and Rolls-Royces, Cayman’s first
car, and motorbikes.

The museum is on North West Point
Road in West Bay and has plenty of parking available.  Refreshments will be served and a variety of
prizes and gift bags, including free passes, caps, shirts, gift certificates
and mouse pads, will be given out to lucky Chamber members. Attendees will also
be treated to a full tour and a ride in a patent car.

Beyond Basics Medical Day Spa will
host a Business After Hours on Thursday, 26 August from 5.30-7.30pm at the spa
in Smith Road Plaza.

The event will celebrate the spa’s grand
opening marking its new home, which combines the previous two locations, the
first also at Smith Road Plaza and the second at Chrissie Tomlinson Memorial Hospital.

Chamber members will be treated to
a tour of the new facilities and given information on the beauty treatments
offered, including two special services, laser tattoo removal and hydrafacials.
There will also be a 20 per cent discount on any product or service bought that
evening, plus a number of product giveaways and prizes. Parking will be
available across Smith Road in the Adventist Church parking lot and at the rear
of the museum in the Bayside Mall area.
