Cayman Motor Museum is revving up
to share its amazing collection of cars and motorbikes with Chamber members and
their guests on Thursday, 12 August at Business After Hours.
The new business has an incredible
selection of motor vehicles on display in its 10,000 square feet of space.
The collection, acquired by local
businessman Andreas Ugland, includes the world’s first car, the Batmobile,
Ferraris, Rolls-Royces, Cayman’s first car, and many motorbikes.
“Finally, after more than a decade,
it is truly a pleasure to share these motorcars and motorbikes with all who
might appreciate their significance and magnificence,” said Mr. Ugland.
The museum offers itself as a
unique environment for banquets, cocktail receptions, presentations, meetings,
birthday parties and other special events. All areas are climate controlled and
offer perfect acoustics, and event planning and audiovisual services are
available upon request.
The museum is on North West Point
Road in West Bay with plenty of parking available.
Refreshments will be served at the
After Hours event, which starts at 5.30pm, and a variety of prizes and gift
bags will be given out to some lucky Chamber members, including a ride in a
patent car, free passes, caps, shirts, gift certificates and mouse pads.
Attendees will also be treated to a full tour of the museum.
