Jason Waters is the new RBC vice
president and country head, Cayman Islands.
“I am honoured and excited about my
new role as country head in Cayman,” said Mr. Waters.
RBC established its operations in
Cayman Islands in 1964, serving clients from two branches and through RBC
Dominion Securities, Private Banking, and RBC Trust Services.
Mr. Waters joined RBC in 1995 and
has held positions including manager, Commercial Banking; manager, Small
Business; community branch manager, and manager, Personal Financial Services.
Mr. Waters holds a master’s in business administration with a concentration in
financial services from Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia, Canada.
His primary responsibility will be
to build the retail and commercial business for RBC in Cayman, and to leverage
the expertise of RBC’s International Wealth Management partners – RBC Dominion
Securities, Private Banking, and RBC Trust Services.
“Jason is an accomplished banker
with a track record of achievement in all of his previous postings,” said Ross
McDonald, head of Caribbean Banking for RBC.
“He brings a unique set of skills
and experience to our operations in the Cayman Islands. I am confident that his
appointment will serve to strengthen client relations and expand the base of
financial solutions we offer them.”
