Yeah Baby! back for third year

Yeah Baby expo returns for third
year

It’s time to take stock and prepare
to stock up on all your baby needs.

The third annual baby expo will be
held from 9am to 5pm Saturday, 25 September at the Camana Bay Arts and Recreation
Centre.

“The free event will include plenty
of activities such as the Gerber baby boogie contest, storytelling, soccer
skills area, food and drink to taste, art lessons and much more,” said Chloe
Hill, promotions coordinator and event planner.

In addition, there will be plenty
of giveaways, including sample products from the businesses involved, and
goodie bags for those who arrive early, Ms Hill said.

This year’s main sponsor,
wildbanana.ky, offers discounts of 50 per cent off various products and services
at its website.  Massive group, another
sponsor, handled the decor.

The merchant list should attract
every kind of shopper: a partial listing includes Body Now 4 Mums & Kids,
Camana Bay, Cayman Cupcakes, Cayman Learning Centre, Cayman Sports, Cayman
Story Books, Dunkin Donuts, Expectations, Generali Worldwide, Gerber, Hope
Academy, J&M Electronics, Launchpad Enrichment Centre, Little Darlings,
Motions Unlimited, Papa John’s, Party Source, Quench Cayman, Smyles Play Time
Paradise, TCBY and the Baby Shoppe.

Also playing a role are several
community groups, including the National Trust, National Gallery, Cayman
islands Girls Football Association and the Public Library.

The festivities wouldn’t be
complete without competitions for the little ones, so be sure yours ages 1-4
get their groove on and win prizes in the Gerber baby boogie.

“We are thrilled to once again
bring Yeah Baby back to Grand Cayman,” said a press release from the event
organisers. “It will be yet another day of fun-filled entertainment … and we
are looking forward to seeing familiar faces and new faces in the crowd.”
