Championships. The team has strength in depth and a strong support staff and
the competition offers an opportunity for the youngsters to get some invaluable
competitive international experience.
current squad draws on a mixture of young talent as well as experienced players
used to the rigours of representing their country. Every player is proud to
have the opportunity to represent the Cayman Islands at a major international
tournament. Star players such as 2009/10 Cayman Premier League top scorer Tex
Whitelocke and Bodden Town’s captain Luigi Hernandez captivated local crowds
all season in the Cayman Premier League and are looking to carry that form into
the 2010 Digicel Caribbean Championship as they take on the Caribbean’s best.
