Sharks dim Ace Paint

With one weekend remaining in the
Domino’s Ladies Division all eight teams still have a chance at landing in the
playoffs. The top two spots are spoken for but everything else is wide open.
Hammerheads continued their winning ways with a hard fought 26-22 victory over
Ace Paints and Décor. Hammerheads were led by Bobeth O’Garro who went 15 of 20
passing with three touchdown passes. Scimone Campbell had five receptions and
caught a touchdown pass while Alex Terry and Kathy Miller each caught
touchdowns. Courtisha Ebanks led the defense with three tackles each.

Ace Paints were led by Lisa Malice
who threw three touchdown passes while going 13 of 15 passing. Betsy Smith had
two touchdown receptions and also helped out with two tackles and an
interception while Delicia Ebanks was the star of the day with eight tackles
and two interceptions.

Lone Star Jager Monsters improved
their playoff chances by thumping Chiro Spa 46-20. Ali Amos had seven touchdown
passes and finished 17 of 24 passing with no interceptions. Keisha Solomon led
the defense with two interceptions. For Chiro Spa Jessica Pawlik was 24 of 36
passing with three touchdowns and two interceptions. Lisa Juaneza, Erin
Marshall and Maggie Ebanks all caught touchdown passes.

Appleby Avengerz took out Zulus
20-6 with Appleby being led by Antoinette Thompson who was 16 of 20 passing
with three touchdown passes and an interception. Joni Wood hauled in two of the
touchdown tosses while Carrie Bennett had the other. Shawanna Hare and Shinette
Rhoden led the Appleby defense with four tackles each. For Zulus Dionne
Whittaker threw a touchdown pass while going 8 of 23 passing. Colleen Cummings
led the defense with five tackles.

Walkers kept pace with Hammerheads
by virtue of a 24-6 win over Andro. Jordana Clark was 13 of 22 passing with
three touchdowns to lead the Wonders. Sophia Dilbert was the star for Andro as
she recorded eight tackles for her defense.
