Sunday kick off

Sunday league football returns this
weekend and it should be the best one yet because it will certainly be the
biggest and most competitive. The Heineken League kicks off and with new
players, new uniforms and three new teams there is an air of excitement. League
champions Harry’s FC are eager to retain their crown but have been given a
challenging start to the season by the fixture computer with an opening day
game against last season’s runners-up Old Boys. That’s followed by a match
against MC Devils the following week who finished third last term. League new
boys CML Claymores, Fire Pros Boca Juniors and AC Lunetta, along with established
teams Agua FC (who were known as Azzurri FC last season) and International
Kickers are the additional teams competing in the league that will run all the
way to May next year.
