George Town are penalty kings

The Premier League season starts
this weekend and as an intro the top teams from last season played for the
Community Shield on Sunday. The game between league champs Scholars International
and Digicel Cup and FA Cup winners George Town may have finished 0-0 after 90
minutes before George Town won 7-6 on penalties but it was entertaining all the
same. Justin Pierre was the George Town captain. There were many goalmouth
incidents and Scholars hit the post twice and the crossbar once so on the
balance of play deserved victory. Played at the TE McField Annex Sports
Complex, all proceeds went to the Pines Retirement Home.
