Shelley White “a good fighter in court”
Attorney Shelley White has been
appointed an associate with Walkers in the firm’s Insolvency and Corporate
Ms White, who specialises in
insolvency litigation, joined Walkers from New Square Chambers in London where
she practised as a Chancery Commercial Barrister from 2003 until July 2010.
During that time, Ms White worked for a number of months as an attorney in

A scholar of St. Peter’s College,
Oxford, Ms White earned a bachelor’s and a master’s in Jurisprudence, as well
as a Bachelor of Civil Law, which she passed with Distinction. She was included
in The Times and Management Today’s 2008-2009 list of 35 Under 35, a list of
Britain’s Female Business Talent.
She has also been recognised by the
leading legal directory publications Legal 500 and Chambers. Chambers UK 2010 described
Ms White as “a very bright spark” and “a good fighter in court”, adding that
she “will always go the extra mile for her clients”.
While she practised in the UK, Ms
White’s recent cases included urgent injunctions in the High Court and a wide
variety of insolvency work, including examinations of bankrupts, regular
appearances in the winding up court, disputed debts, administration applications
and applications for the administration of insolvent estates.

advised and represented a wide range of clients in numerous insolvency
litigation matters, including large scale liquidations with significant

played pool for England ladies’ international squad since 2003, winning world
and European titles.
