A 16-year-old male was arrested
Thursday morning following a police operation in the George Town area.
Royal Cayman Islands Police Service officials said, as a
result of the operation, which took place in the vicinity of the Family Life
Centre, a quantity of ammunition was recovered.
The teen was arrested on suspicion of possession of an unlicensed firearm and he
remained in police custody Friday.
