The Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort has a new general manager.
Enrique Tasende brings over 12 years of experience in operational and hotel management in various markets, including South America, the United Sates and the Caribbean.
Mr. Tasende started his career in 1998 at the Marriott Plaza Hotel Buenos Aires, Argentina, before moving on to the JW Marriott in Miami, Florida. After working as director of room operations at Los Suenos Marriott Ocean and Golf Resort, he went on to be resident manager with the Marriott Frenchman’s Reef & Morning Star Beach Resort in St Thomas.
He has also led training teams and acting on special projects in both China and at Marriott corporate headquarters.
“I am honoured at the privilege to work here in Grand Cayman. I really want to show my appreciation and build on the relationship with Marriott and the local community. I feel it is important to not only do business here but also have that relationship with the island and give back,” he said.
