Water Authority
helps track club

The Water Authority board members recently approved a donation of $1,000 to help support the Trinity Performance Track Club in an effort to provide a quality programme for all youth and their families through a constructive track and field experience.

Water Authority Cayman is a gold-level sponsor for the independent track and field club run by coach Ato Stephens.

The board members applauded the club’s effort to improve the quality of life for the youth and their families in the Cayman Islands through physical fitness and health education.

“With recent successes on the track with Miss Chantelle Morrison and Mrs. Cydonie Mothersil winning gold in international track meets, it is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that the Water Authority staff and board make this presentation to Trinity Performance Track Club,” said Water Authority Board Member Pearlina McGaw-Lumsden. “We expect many successes for our Caymanian athletes and wish them all the best with their training and upcoming competitions.”

Coach of the Trinity Performance Track Club, Mr. Ato Stephens commented: “On behalf of Trinity Performance Track Club and its members, we are profoundly grateful to have such an established institution as a gold sponsor. We are looking forward to many successes on the track, and of course a very flourishing relationship with the Water Authority staff and its Board Members.”

The Water Authority is the statutory authority responsible for the management of water and wastewater in the Cayman Islands.
