The hotel investment climate appears to be improving, according to a major conference organiser.
“We are in active registration mode for four of our 2011 events now and the registration pace is up over 15 per cent from last year’s pace. In addition, we have seen a marked increase in sponsor sign-ups and inquiries, particularly with our newest Hotel Investment Conference Europe scheduled for next September in London,” said Jim Burba, president of Burba Hotel Network.
He added that agencies had reported meetings and travel business improving in advance of 2011 which he felt was a turnaround for the industry.
“We believe that the strong increases we are seeing in our registration and sponsor numbers indicate that the hotel investment community is getting back to business and doing deals again,” said Mr. Burba.
Burba Hotel Network is a leader in the production and organisation of conferences worldwide.
