Equestrian girls pace their horses

Cayman Riding School located on Hirst Road in Savannah have announced the results of their second Annual Horse Show.

With almost 60 competitors taking place it proved to be a very exciting day with the riders demonstrating some excellent riding skills that are certain to take them onto more challenging events.

In the Team Tack and Turnout event first place went to Team Slattery – Meegan Slattery, Tanja Slattery and Kyra Slattery. Second went to the group of Dane Muspratt, Mike Boucher and Joshua Daykin. Hannah Fowler, Jemma Taylor, Amelia Garnett and Charlie McKenzie-Cahill placed third while Georgia Austin, Emily Beach, Stephanie Royston were in fourth. Rounding out the competitors were Amara Thompson, Marley McCoy, India Austin, Skye Buckley in fifth position and Lizzie Wolfe, Kayla Godwin and Saskia Drake in sixth.

The Beginners Handy Pony segment saw all participants receive a ribbon and rosette. In the intermediate section Grace Geldard was first followed by Melody Allenger, Christina Wolfe, Mya Heiss, Elana Sinclair and Emily Beach. The advanced category saw Amara Thompson in first ahead of Dane Muspratt, Georgia Austin, Hannah Fowler, Chloe Fowler and Tess Ashman.

Meegan Slattery won the Beginners Jumping event ahead of Elana Sinclair, Eva Muspratt, Grace Geldard, Sabine Wang–Ellison and Meaghan Fowler. Amara Thompson claimed the advanced jumping title ahead of Hannah Fowler, Dane Muspratt and Chloe Fowler. Thompson would also end up joint show champion along with Dane Muspratt.
