Jo-Anne Brown, CEO of Celebrations wedding and event planners, still recalls the excitement of the 1981 Royal Wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer. Hundreds of people in Cayman got up in the middle of the night to gather and watch the historic event as it was broadcast live via satellite.
Embracing the excitement surrounding this year’s forthcoming royal wedding in April, Celebrations has launched a She’s Royal theme for Valentine’s Day, so that every man and woman on the Island “can make their partner feel like royalty.” Not only do they offer floral arrangements, gift baskets, accessories and numerous gift items in store, they also have three-day gift packages available for those who really want to make a statement. Tying this Valentine’s Day in with William and Kate’s big day, Celebrations has teamed up with several Caymanian businesses to offer prizes, which will be drawn from noon on Monday, 14 February.
The first prize to be drawn will be a royal feast for two on Valentine’s night, at the Brasserie.
Also up for grabs is the chance to have your memories captured on camera by professional photographer David Wolfe.
Enabling residents to make the most of the one-off public holiday on Friday, 29 April and the long weekend, Celebrations is also giving one couple a night’s stay in a luxury suite at the Caribbean Club on Seven Mile Beach. Top prize will be tickets to any one of Cayman Airways’ destinations over the long Royal Wedding Weekend.
To be entered in the prize draw, customers must place an order or make a purchase of $125 or more.
Celebrations will open its store on Sunday, 13 February, between 11am and 4pm.
