The new government administration building on Elgin Avenue in George Town will begin housing its new occupants toward the end of March, according to a statement issued Tuesday.
hand over of the government office project occurred Monday.
Government officials said Tuesday that they would begin relocating the
first of some 30 government entities to the building by the end of March.
“This building was an enormous undertaking and we were excited to see
the official hand over take place,” said chief project manager Jim Scott.
Furniture and equipment are already in place and the government said phased relocation
of staff should be completed by July.
