A consular officer from
the US embassy in Kingston, Jamaica, will be available to assist US citizens in
the Cayman Islands with passport, report of birth and notarial services on 30
and 31 March and 1 April.
The consular officer is
scheduled to be available on Wednesday, 30 March – 11.30am to 2pm; Thursday, 31
March – 8am to 2pm, and Friday, 1 April – 8am to 2pm.
As of Monday, 4 April, the
US Consular Agency in George Town will resume full-scale passport and report of
birth operations. Routine notarial services at the Consular Agency will resume
at a later date.
The Consular Agency
provides passport, report of birth and special consular services, such as those
related to incarceration or death, from 8am to 2pm Mondays through Fridays. The
office is closed on Caymanian and US holidays.
Visa services must be
handled through the US Embassy in Kingston.
