Chalk it up to good clean fun – full of colour and creativity.
The Chalkfest competition will cover the street in Camana Bay on Saturday, 2 April, as the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands and Camana Bay host the eighth annual event.
Artists of all ages are invited to compete, using the street as their canvas from 3-6pm in the Solaris parking lot.
Chalkfest is based on the ancient art of street painting, an immediate, visual process that evokes an instant response from viewers.
Registration begins at 2pm on event day. Free water and sunscreen will be provided.
Prizes will be awarded in each of these categories: Primary (ages five-10); Middle School (11-13); High School (14-17); and Adults (18+).
