Squash Open: David is made to dive!

This is a truly rare sight!

At the Cedrus Investments Cayman
Squash Open reigning champion Nicol David was forced to make a diving shot, superbly
captured on camera.

David is undefeated so far in the
three times the Cayman Open has been held here.

She is also the world champion who
has dominated the sport for the last five years and is a superstar in her
homeland of Malaysia.

David overcame Natalie Grinhamm, an
Australian now playing for the Netherlands, in four games on Wednesday night at
the glass court in Camana Bay.

She plays Donna Urquhart of
Australia on Friday night for a place in the final on Saturday.

on Friday is between Rachel Grinham, Natalie’s sister and Jenny Duncalf of

In the men’s competition, Ramy
Ashour, the brilliant Egyptian, former world champion and world No.1 faces
American Richard Chin in the semis.

The other semi is between England’s
Alister Walker and Jamaica’s Chris Binnie.

All the players are world class and
the sports community in Cayman has been coming out in droves since Sunday for
the wonderful action.
