Darryl Hather is a veteran of Cayman roller hockey. He has been captain for many seasons of a High Rollers team that has typically been in contention for the national championship, called the Cherry Cup.
So far Hather and his squad are living up to expectations. Coming into this week the High Rollers are in first place in the Logic Adult Roller Hockey League. The side have a 6-2 mark and dominated the stats with the most goals scored (58) and the fewest goals allowed (45). They boast two of the top scorers in Eric Mildenberger and Dan Etherington plus have a new goalie in Andrew Finlason who has quietly allowed the fewest goals (42) while sporting the second-best save percentage (76.4 per cent).
All of those positives should be evident at the Logic arena of King’s Sports Centre.
