The Cayman Islands Athletic Association hosts their May Time Trials track and field meet on Saturday at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex, starting at 9am.
At the time trials last Saturday, pick of the results were David Hamil running an exceptionally fast 100 metres of 10.5 seconds to put him in line for a Pan American Games place, Dimitri Chambers, another sprinter, running well and javelin specialist Alex Pascal throwing well ahead of the rest.
Also Dwayne Anglin-Folkes was champion male athlete with his exploits on the track and in the long jump.
Age groups eligible to participate on Saturday are 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17 and over. All the usual track and field events are being contested.
