The Blood Bank at the George Town Hospital was quite busy on World Blood Donor day with several members of the business community stopping by to give blood and offer a special gift for those who give blood.
Irma Chirino-Arch and Larry Thompson, family members of the late Alfred Thompson, donated a television for the entertainment of those who are giving blood.
“This we hope will make for a more comfortable experience and welcomed distraction for donors,” said Mr. Thompson.
