Broad daylight robbery in GT

Royal Cayman Police said Sunday that
a man was robbed in the middle of the day on a George Town Street.  

At 12:45pm Sunday, police received a report
that a 38-year-old man had been robbed on Heather Lane, just off Eastern Avenue
in George Town.

Police said the man was confronted by two masked suspects, armed with what
appeared to be handguns.

The suspects stole a gold chain and bracelet from their victim before fleeing
the scene, police said. 

No shots were fired and no one was injured in the incident.

The suspects are both described as being around 5’3″, fair
complexion, wearing white t-shirts, long jeans and black masks.

  1. This may be my last year of vacationing on Cayman. I need to be safe. So sad to see the changes. The law enforcement used to be so tough, you would never dream of what is happening now to be happening. Remember when you would get in trouble cussing on the streets? You’ve come a long way and i don’t mean that in a good way
