The fall season of indoor five-a-side football is under way.
Matches are taking place throughout the week at Kings Sports Centre. The competition is split up into two main groups, competitive and social, with the competitive segment featuring division one and two action.
Focus will be on Hurleys and Transformers early on. Guided by a number of top national football talents, Hurleys claimed last season’s division one crown over perennial favourites the Bonaca Boys. Prison club the Transformers edged out The Security Centre 3-1 to earn the division two championship.
Look for a number of veteran five-a-side talents like Jon-Andrew Japal and Rene Carter to hit the court this season.
