Rough weather conditions led to the closure of the Sandbar in Grand Cayman’s North Sound Tuesday.
According to Department of Environment marine crews, the tourist destination was closed off to boat traffic as of 7am until the conditions clear up.
Forecasters were expecting high winds – possibly as high as 25 to 30 miles per hour – by Tuesday evening.
