Roti drown Sea Inn

Singh’s Roti Shop continue to ride a hot streak in Cayman dominoes.

After a solid victory at a recent holiday tournament, the George Town bar nabbed another victory in the Cayman Islands Domino Association 2012 national league. Roti would down Sea Inn by three points last Sunday.

Leading the way for Roti, who have talented players like former track and field hero Paul Hurlston and Don Myles, were Chistan Freeman and Alvin Lettford. Sea Inn’s star players were Leroy Davis and Linford Campbell. Sunday also saw another interesting match-up between team DLK and Island All-Stars.

DLK would prove dominant, winning by 35 points. The stars for DLK were Elvis Bodden and Teddy Guthrie while Orville Brown and Sharon Ledgister shined brightest for All-Stars.

A match was scheduled for last Saturday at Pirates Cove in East End between Kelly’s International and East End Mystical Youth. The match was won by East End Mystical Youth by 300 points because of the no show and subsequent forfeiture of the match by Kelly’s.
