Students bring fest to a close

Cayman Arts Festival came to a grand finale at the Pedro St. James Castle the evening of Saturday, 18 February. 

A mass choir of more than 300 primary and high school students, along with the Butterfield young musicians of the year, sang and danced under the watchful eye of musical director Ronald Corp and dance director Monika Lawrence. 

The event was a night of young talent on display. Performing were Shanique Ayres, the Butterfield young musician of the Year 2011 runner-up, as well as winner Isabella Rooney. Dance troupes choreographed by Ms Lawrence joined in the festivities.
