A 19-year-old man was taken to the Cayman Islands Hospital late Monday night, 27 February, after the car he was driving crashed into a wall in West Bay.
Police said the crash occurred just after 11.05pm on Monday on Boatswain’s Bay Road, near to the New Testament Church.
According to police, the Ford Explorer left the road, crashed into a wall and came to rest on its side. The vehicle was extensively damaged and the driver sustained head and leg injuries.
The man remained in hospital Tuesday. His condition was described as stable.
