Immigration ‘space’ issues will cause delays

The Cayman Islands Immigration Department warns travellers that minor delays will occur in the arrival hall at Owen Roberts International Airport on Grand Cayman in the coming days.
The delays are due to reduction in space for immigration at the arrival hall.
The Cayman Islands Airports Authority will assist immigration officials with arrivals during peak periods, the department said.
“Every effort is being made to minimise the disruption to our services,” said Acting Chief Immigration Officer Bruce Smith. “We understand the need for the CIAA to make these modifications to the terminal layout in the interest of passenger safety and security.”
