A financial services delegation from the Cayman Islands Ministry of Finance is visiting São Paulo this week to attend the Brazil Investment Summit.
The summit is the largest international investment conference in Brazil, where leading international and Brazilian funds and investors come to address advances in market regulation, fund strategy, trading and asset allocation.
The main reasons for the delegation’s visit are the summit’s focus on how to find the best investment opportunities inside and outside of Brazil, and how to form beneficial partnerships in the region and globally.
This focus is in line with the delegation’s objectives of exploring opportunities and challenges for business between jurisdictions, and building a network in Brazil to assist with enhancing existing and future opportunities, the government said in a news release. In addition to attending the summit, for which the Cayman Islands is a sponsor, members of the delegation will attend meetings with professional firms and associations in São Paulo.
