Head to the car park of the Savannah Primary School from 6 to 10am this Saturday, 19 May for a special flea market.
Every penny raised goes toward the Year 6 Chicago Trip, we’re told. At the time of print there were 23 spaces available for $25. There’s also going to be Caribbean breakfast on offer for $10. Expect fish and fritters or scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage. Donations to the PTA booth can be dropped off at the lost and found box at the school.

Fun day coming up
The school is also holding a family fun day on Saturday, 26 March from 9am to 3pm at the Savannah/Newlands park on Pedro Castle Road. For an entry fee of $5 there’s all sorts of good stuff including water slides, bouncy castles, go-karting, rock climbing, horse rides, karate demos, fashion show, 5-a-side, volleyball, face painting, arts and crafts and a talent show.
Food on offer will include fish and fritters, swanky, hamburgers and loads of sweet stuff.
