Jamaica cheers for 50

Local footballers are planning a week long celebration of the Jamaica 50th Anniversary celebrations and there will be two games made up of local players, including Kemar Boothe, who plays for Tigers.

The first match is Jamaica versus the Rest of the World at the TC McField Annex on Sunday 29 July. At 4:30pm will be the masters game between Jamaica and Rest of the World. At 7pm is Jamaica against the President’s Select.

Both these teams will be made up of mostly Premier League players. Entry is free and there will be lots of give aways and half time entertainment. The main sponsor is Western Union.
