Floyd Mayweather Jr. steadfastly denies the rumour he bet $3 million on a college football game featuring the University of Alabama against the University of Michigan.
However the boxing champ flat-out boasted about a recent big score on another large wager.
“I bet the Cowboys second half $200,000,” Mayweather said. “This is real. Not a rumour like Michigan.”
Mayweather tweeted after the Dallas Cowboys beat the New York Giants 24-17 in the NFL season opener, outscoring the Giants 17-14 in the second half. Mayweather even included a link to an Instagram photo of a betting ticket.
The payoff for this $200,000 bet? A cool $181,818.20.
