Jeff Webb, FIFA Vice President and CONCACAF President, accepted the English FA’s invitation to attend the England versus San Marino World Cup qualifiert at Wembley Stadium which the hosts won comfortably 5-0.
Webb, 48, has prolonged his stay in London after becoming ill on flight to attend the Leaders in Football conference, where he was scheduled to give a speech regarding the future of football in this new era of transparency last Wednesday.
After thorough evaluation regarding his shortness of breath, specialists concluded Webb is in good condition.
CONCACAF is the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football and is one of six continental confederations of governing body FIFA and serves as the governing body of football in this region. It is composed of 40 national associations, from Canada in the north to Guyana, Surinam and French Guyana in the south.
