ESSO had little more gas

Fun, fun and more fun! That’s the way it was described by many spectators and participants as the cricket association held its first Corporate 6-a-side competition. Three companies; LIME, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and ESSO brought out their employees and friends and had an enjoyable time beating the ball, taking catches and bowling wickets. Joining in the fun were 3 teams comprising of Cayman Women (Angels), Cayman Youths and Cayman Masters lead by CICA President Courtney Myles.

With his “love me or leave me” style of spin bowling, president Myles had his fielders collecting the balls on a regular basis from across Smith Road.

At the end, it was ESSO versus LIME for the championship with ESSO earning bragging rights for one year as the champions. It is going to be bigger and better in 2013, so it’s worth other companies getting on board.
