Police in Grand Cayman have announced a series of road closures beginning Friday and running throughout the weekend in connection with the observance of National Heroes Day, which will be celebrated Monday in the Cayman Islands.
The following roads in downtown George Town will be closed from 6pm on Friday, 25 January, until 9pm on Monday, 28 January, according to a news release issued by the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service.
The roads are:
Fort Street at the junction with North Church Street
Fort Street at the clock tower

Edward Street at the junction with Main Street
Edward Street at the junction with Cardinall Avenue
Albert Panton Street at the junction with Cardinall Avenue
