School fair set at St. Ignatius

The St. Ignatius Home School Association has informed Weekender that they are putting on their Spring Fling on Friday, 22 February, 3.15-7pm on the school grounds.

The annual school
fair will feature a
variety of great food, including fish fry, hamburgers, hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, frozen yogurt, cupcakes, and sno cones.

There will also be a tea room where visitors can sit and relax, while enjoying yummy baked goods, served with tea, coffee or juices, we have learned.

The youngsters will be kept occupied with a variety of games and stalls, including dunk tank, tattoo parlour and face painting, balloon darts, games arcade and computer games, cake
walk, bouncy castle,
bean bag toss, go fish, guess the name of the teddy, parents versus students football and much more.

Game tickets are $1 each and there will be a prize redemption stall with lots of fun items.

The Cayman Islands Fire Service will also be on hand so that the children can have a close up look at one of the shiny red fire trucks.

Add to this a white elephant stall with tremendous bargains on books, toys, household items and more and we’re sold.

All are welcome, but please note that all children from other schools must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.

Extra parking will be available on the front playing field.
